Awards Ceremony at Newbold College (May 2005)
Newbold College, located in the village of Binfield – itself situated in the Royal County of Berkshire – has provided me with a home, an education and a place of employment. As a student at Newbold College, I studied history, fell in love with Josée-Marie, married and started our family. Our daughters returned to the College and graduated there, too. Later, I served as principal of the College – a wonderful opportunity to return to the place we loved and enjoyed as students. This page includes scenes from life of the College while other pages (see links above) focus on the history of the College, Moor Close and the Gardens. We share these memories with a host of friends, colleagues and family members, beloved students and loyal staff — all fellow ‘Old Newboldians’.
